A bit about me - Louise Martin
As a coach, trainer and BAMBA Accredited Mindfulness Teacher with over 20 years’ experience in the health industry, I can say, with confidence, that mindfulness has been a game-changer not only in my own life, but also in the way I deliver my services.

“It was quite by accident, at a resilience conference I attended in London, that I came across Mindfulness.”
I had never heard of it before, but curiosity got the better of me and I went along to the workshop. The speaker asked us all to sit and meditate on a raisin. This piqued my interest further and when I heard about the MSc course in Mindfulness at the University of Aberdeen, I knew that I had found the missing piece.
That was 10 years ago and the difference it has made to my life has been immense.

“After completing the PG Cert and Diploma in Mindfulness at the University of Aberdeen and 4 years of personal meditation practice I commenced training to become an accredited mindfulness teacher.”
I completed the UK Mindfulness Association’s MBLC teacher training programme (Mindfulness Based Living Course), and the University of Bangor’s MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) programmes.
These professional qualifications have given me the opportunity to teach mindfulness across a range of settings and populations groups. It has been a wonderful opportunity to help people embark upon a journey in mindfulness and see how they flourish as a result.
